Justin's Birthday

I am soooo late in getting these pictures posted, but Justin did have a birthday this year. He turned 7! I can't believe my baby is 7! Justin had a great time for his birthday. He was completely spoiled as usual. Justin has wanted a new bike for several years. He has always had Jacob's old bikes so he keeps asking if he could have a new bike. Then he would say something like, "You know, Mom. New. Which means no one has ever owned the bike before me." Ahh, the scarring of having hand me downs. Anyway, we decided it was time for a new bike so we gave him a 'ticket' for a shopping trip to pick out a new bike. He also requested a skateboard cake with orange cream sherbet. He doesn't usually ask for that kind of ice cream so I asked why he wanted that particular ice cream. He said it was his Aunt Mel's favorite ice cream and if he had it she would come for his b-day. It was so cute! I told Mel and she laughed and said she was going to come anyway.

I'm 7!!!!!

I'm getting a NEW bike!

I'm just spoiled at this point, but I'm so worth it.

The first ride on the NEW bike.

Justin is a very special part of our family. He is the baby of our family which he loves since he can use that position to get quite a bit of spoiling. Justin was born 2 weeks early. He wasn't due until November, but he must have decided he couldn't wait to join our family. We are so very glad he did. Justin is a great kid. He makes friends easily and has loved being in 1st grade. He does well in school and has quickly wrapped his teacher around his little finger. She is always telling me how much she loves Justin in class. I'm not sure if this is a good thing, but apparently he is the only one laughing when she makes a joke or funny remark. Justin is loved by all his family. I love that he is not too old to cuddle his mom once in a while. He loves to tease and make people laugh. Grandma J has always said that Justin has a twinkle in his eye that just melts your heart. We love you, Justin! Hope your b-day was a good one.

Great pictures. Worth waiting for. The cake is awesome. You could work in a hot, sweaty bakery if you wanted ;o)
