Our fun day at the park

I mentioned in an earlier post that during the week of Jill's birthday we had offered to take several of my nieces and nephew during while their parents were at youth conference and girl's camp. It was a blast having the extra kids. I loved every minute of it.

For something fun to do on Jill's birthday we took all the kids to a park. I gone to this park several years before and thought it was so fun. So we decided to go back. What I didn't know, however, is that since the last time I'd been here they had put in a splash pad. So we came unprepared to play in water. That really didn't stop us though. I told the kids to go ahead and play and we'd just change when we got home. Not everyone wanted to get wet and that was ok too. Here are some pictures of our day.

While we were drying off a bit before getting back in the cars I told the kids to let me take a picture of them all together for Grandma and Grandpa P who are on their mission in Australia. So here they are posing so nicely for Gma and Gpa.

Then since we must always do a silly picture....
Here they are in jail.
(That's what the kids kept saying and thought it was too funny.)

Of course we had to have one of just the boys.

And now just the girls.
This is my cute niece. She is my little buddy. She was so tuckered out from playing so hard and it was getting so hot we just couldn't convince her to be in the group picture. I told it was ok she didn't have to. So after I had snapped the pictures of the other kids I turned around and took one of her. She doesn't look too happy, but like I said at this point she was getting so hot and tired. She was much happier once we got home and we all had a nice cold popsicle.
