1. One memorable thing about being a child:

-->My mom and dad would take us for breakfast in the mountains. We would wake up on a Saturday and they would be getting ready. My mom would cut fresh strawberries and we would eat strawberries with milk and sugar. We would spend the morning up in the mountains playing and then come home.
2.One crazy thing you did as a teen:

-->I really didn't do anything crazy as a teenager. I was a goody goody and was too afraid to get into trouble.
3. One crazy thing you did as an adult:

-->Does being in college make you an adult? If so...On one of my first dates with Jared my roommate, Melanie, and I took Jared and her fiance, Marty, to Wal-Mart to get our pictures taken with the Ronald McDonald in the Wal-Mart McDonalds. This was about 10:00 pm. After that we played Hide and Seek in Wal-Mart. Then we took the boys out for Slurpees. We made them sit in the back of the car so Mel and I could sit in the front with our sunglasses on and sing "I wear my sunglasses at night."
4. One nutzoid thing your children did:

-->We took the kids to the Air Force Museum here by our house. This is a pretty awesome place. There are really cool planes everywhere. What did my kids see?.... "Oh, look at the rocks! I like this one." The whole time Jared and I are saying, "Look at the big plane sitting on the rocks." They didn't care. We came home with pockets full of rocks. Ahh, nothing like making memories.

5. How did you meet you spouse/significant other?
-->We went to church together. Jared was also roommates with my roommate's fiance.
6. One time you lied:

-->I never lie! And I will deny it if anyone tries to prove otherwise.
7. One thing you don't volunteer about yourself to people you meet for the first time:

-->I tend to be a highly competitive. I like people to think that I'm just sweet all the time.

8. One situation you have been in that you really wish you had not:
-->One phrase...dating in college....(shudder, twitch, shudder). Except when I met Jared of course. He saved me from the mess.
9. One dangerous or potentially dangerous situation you have been in:

-->Hmmm...we went 4-wheeling a couple of years back. It was one of the
first times I'd driven one. I was doing pretty well, but we didn't
know that the one I was driving had engine problems and would randomly
stall for no reason. Well, just as we went up this hill it stalled on
me and we (I had Jacob on the back) rolled it. Something inside me kicked in. I lifted the 4-wheeler off Jacob, pulled him out and sat it back down. It must have been mommy power. After the scare was over I couldn't lift it. It took me and Jared both to right it.

10. One opportunity you turned down that you really wish you had not: -->
I don't think I've ever turned something down I wish I hadn't, but one thing I do regret is that I really wanted to try out for the volleyball team in college. I really thought I could make the team, but I talked myself out of it. I wish I'd at least tried!
