First, my mom and dad came out to spend the holiday with us. They were here the whole week before. It was so nice to have them here. My kids just couldn't get enough hugs and kisses from them.
Then I went over to the school where I was in charge of the craft for Jacob's Thanksgiving party. We made Turkey hats. My brother, John, was nice enough to model it.
Thanksgiving day was great! We had dinner at our house. It was the first time we had hosted Thanksgiving dinner. My parents, my sister's family and our family were all together.
Jared and I working on dinner. We would love to take all the credit for a great dinner, but we had a ton of help from everyone. It was a great collective effort.
While the grown ups were helping with dinner, the kids played outside together.
Then we enjoyed an awesome dinner! YUMMY! YUMMY!
Jacob had an idea to make his very own turkey. He got a black trash bag and filled it with leaves from the back yard. Then made a turkey head and taped it on the bag. It was really cute! We set it out front to everyone could see it.
Saturday night Jerri, John and I took all the kids into Ogden to see my nephew, Jason, march in the Christmas Parade. The weather was perfect. It wasn't very cold! It was a really fun time and the kids all came home with pockets full of candy.
I truly am grateful for have. My life is so full of blessings that I can't even begin to count them. But I do want to say how grateful I am for family. I cherish every moment with them. Jared and I were both blessed with wonderful families. We are so glad to be a part of both families.

You got some great photos! I hope we were missed, though!
What fun pictures! Wish we had been home when you stopped by. We'd have loved to see Grandma and Grandpa J!
