Jared ended up designing and building it. The float is of a steam engine going through a mountain tunnel and coming out as the FrontRunner (the new commuter train). Their theme was "Commuting through time". It was very cool. Jared even engineered it so that the train rocked back and forth. We had kids sit in it to wave.
This was a ton of work, but I think he enjoyed it. I even went and helped one day.
You can't tell, but Jacob is the one sticking out the front with the ball cap on.
