An Unexpected Home Improvement

While we were installing the new front door, I was having the kids help do laundry.  It wasn't long though before the kids were saying the dryer wouldn't turn on.  Jared and I went down and sure enough it wouldn't turn on. 

This wasn't a huge surprise.  We knew the dryer was dying, but we just kept repairing the dryer hoping to make it last as long as possible.  Well, it had finally had it and died.  We knew the washing machine was probably close to dying as well.  (They are 11 years old after all.)

As soon as we had the door hung, we went shopping for a new washer/dryer set.  They were delivered a couple of days later. 



I love how big they are and how much laundry I can get done at once.  I also love how quiet they are. 

Jared will eventually build some stands to put them on so they won't be so low to the ground.
