We have a teenager!

Jamie turned 13 this week. I can't believe that she is now a teenager. Where has the time gone?

Jamie got quite a few presents.
She got a new flat iron.

A new volleyball

New flip flops, sunglasses, and a swim cover-up.

Of course it wouldn't be complete without cake and ice cream.
We love Jamie and are so proud to have her as our daughter. She really has grown up so fast. She is our oldest child which means she can be a bit bossy. (She tends to think she is in charge of all her siblings.) It also means that she is my biggest helper. Jamie LOVES school and is a great student. She is quite often walking around with her face in a book. Jamie is very competitive which is good since she loves to participate in sports. (Volleyball and basketball are her favorites!) Jamie has always enjoyed being around little kids and babies. This has come in very handy as she has now started babysitting. Jamie has always had a strong spiritual side. I love watching her grow in every way. I just hope we all survive the teen years.
