Meeting Isaac
One of the highlights of Christmas was meeting our nephew, Isaac. Jared's brother and his wife live in California so we hadn't had a chance to see him before then. My kids fell in love with him from the second they saw Isaac. On the day that they spent with us my kids felt bad that Isaac didn't have a place to lay down. So they found a box, decorated it, and then filled it with blankets and pillows. It was so cute and sweet to watch. Justin even gave Isaac his Winnie the Pooh that sings to keep him happy. We eventually found the kids old bouncy seat for Isaac and so we put him in that. The kids all sat around Isaac and talked to him, made faces and Jacob even got out his Christmas joke book to read to him. It was SOO fun to watch.

Oh! He is adorable and definitely looks like a Porter baby!
We had such a great time with the kids! Isaac was definitely content with all the love and affection he got that night, especially after a long drive and being sick. The kids got him calmed down a lot faster than even mom could do on her own. I only wish we could be closer so Isaac could spend more time with his cousins!
P.S., tell the kids Isaac loves all the presents he got from them for Christmas :)
