Justin's Birthday

I am very late getting this post up. I've had a few issues with putting pictures on the blog but better late than never.

Anyway, my baby boy turned 6 a couple of weeks ago. He actually celebrated 2 days. His actual b-day was on the Sunday Jared had to work so we planned on celebrating it on Monday. Which in the end worked out better because Justin did not feel that great when he woke up Sunday morning.

Justin is 6!!!!!!!

Justin with a birthday cinnamon roll!

The kids made Justin a "card" for his birthday.

Jacob really wanted to get something for Justin. So I took Jacob out and he spent his own money to buy Justin Legos.

Plus a Bionicle from Mom and Dad.

Celebrating when Dad gets home the next day. Justin gets a new skateboard, helmet and safety pads from us.

Justin's rocket cake.

It was a great couple of days! We are so happy to have Justin in our family. I can't believe he is 6! Where does time fly? As usual I like to share some of my favorite things about the kids on their birthday posts. So here goes...

*Justin is very sweet. He is my little cuddle bug. He can't start his morning until he has climbed into bed and had a snuggle with mom and dad.

*When Justin was about a year and a half he started playing with people's ears. When he was hurt or sick he'd grab onto my ears and rub them. It comforted him. (I know weird, huh!) Well, he had never stopped. To this day he likes to cuddle up and have "ear time".

*As my mom would say, Justin's eyes sparkle and dance. I must admit this is true. He knows he is cute and uses it to his advantage.

*Justin was born after we moved here to Utah and into our house. This makes him very sad that he is the only one of our kids who hasn't lived in another house or state. Every now and then he'll ask, "When are we moving to another state?"

*Justin is the only one of my kids who clung to his dad when he was a baby. The other kids all wanted mom when they were sick or hurt, but no not Justin! He wanted his dad. (Poor me! And as Jared would say, "It is about time!") He is still his daddy's LITTLE BUDDY today.

*Justin is all boy! Bring on the trains, matchbox cars and legos. The more the better!

Thanks for making our family complete, Justin ! We love you tons!
