Our first stop on our trip was Idaho Falls. My brother, John, lives there with his family. We went up there for the baptism of my niece, Christian. They also had the baby blessing of my newest niece, Lia. We were happy to be a part of such a wonderful day.
We were worried for a little bit that we would miss the big events. On the way up to Idaho Falls, we watched a car swerve across the highway into the median then back all the way to the other side and roll over a couple times. Jared pulled over and went to go check on the man. Luckily, he was ok. He was a little scratched up and the car was pretty much a total loss, but he was ok. The man wasn't sure what happened, but was pretty sure he had dozed off. SCARY! Our kids were a bit shaken and spent the rest of the drive thanking us for always making them buckle up!
In the end, we made it to the baptism and even had a few minutes to spare. We were glad that we had made it in time. The baptism was great and had a wonderful spirit. We are amazed to see Christian grow up and see what a special young lady she is becoming. Little Lia was also beautiful. She is so sweet.
