Before we left California, we wanted the kids to see
the ocean. Justin had never seen the ocean and the other
kids were too little to remember seeing the ocean.
So we went to Newport Beach! It was a great day. It was
warm and there were hardly any people on the beach. The
water was cold but no one seemed to care much.
The kids spent a lot of time looking for shells. We came
home with a bunch that I think we are going to use to make
a picture frame. I also had all the kids lay on the beach and
we traced their bodies.

Looks like fun!
I have never thought of having the kids lay down and trace their bodies in the sand. Maybe we'll do that the next time we go to the beach. I'm glad you guys had so much fun! What a great trip and wonderful memories for the kids.
