Well, I'm finally getting around to posting Halloween pictures.
We had a really great day. The kids were actually out of
school on Halloween so they had their parade at school
the day before Halloween. It is always fun to see all the
kids dressed up.
Since the kids were out of school on Halloween, Jared took the
day off and we had a family fun day. We took the kids to
see High School Musical 3, took the kids out to lunch at
Chili's, and carved pumpkins. Then our neighborhood
does a parade for all the kidsand then trick or treating
of course.
We have also started a tradition of having my sister and
her family over on Halloween. We make soup and play
games after the trick or treating.
As always it was a really fun time.

Looking good, Porters!
What fabulous costumes everyone has, I love it! We actually had nice weather on Halloween here in Denver, and Chuck and I totally ran out of candy (we don't usually get so many trick or treaters on our street!) so we were forced to turn off the lights and bring the pumpkins in by about 8:30. It was a fun night though. Glad you all had a good time too.
And on a totally unrelated subject- I just have to tell you that after I'm done checking out your blog, I've noticed I tend to leave yours open and use a new screen for whatever else I am doing online, just so I can keep listening to the AWESOME music you have!!! Seriously, I just went from Michael W Smith, to kermit the frog to "Domo Arigato, MR ROBOTO"... and I love it. Truly an eclectic mix, but somehow I knew the lyrics to each song. too funny!
Thanks! We had a ton of fun putting together the playlist. We took a stroll down memory lane and put songs on there that we remembered in our younger years. We also have songs the kids like so it would truly be our family's playlist. I'm happy to know someone else besides me turns it on just to listen to the music.
