"What is Krypto?" you may ask. It is a math game played with cards numbered from 1-25. Each person is given 5 cards and then another card is turned over as the base card. Each player must add, subtract, multiply or divide the numbers on their cards to come up with the number on the base card. You also must do it before anyone else.
This is kind of a big deal. In order to go at all, first you must place in the top 3 in your grade level at your own school. Then you get to go to the county to compete against the other schools in the district.
Jamie was very nervous before the competition. She thought she was going to be sick, but once she got into it she was fine.
Jamie's team won 2nd place in the district. It was really cool.
