Camping Day #2 Bear Lake

On our second day camping we decided to drive up through the canyon to Bear Lake.  On the way there we ran into a cattle drive.  Here are just a few of the cattle we passed on the way.  They were leading them up through the canyon on the highway.  It sure slowed down the traffic, but it was interesting to watch.

We finally arrived at Bear Lake and we started to enjoy the sun, sad and water.

Justin enjoyed relaxing in this floating bed.
Jake really wanted to dig a big hole.
Here he is hard at work on his hole.

Jill had a good time playing in the sand.
Here are a few of her creations.

Jamie and I made a sandcastle.

(Yes, that is Jake pouring water down Justin's pants!)
Apparently Justin had sand down his pants and Jake was helping him out.
I didn't notice until we came home and looked at pictures.

That evening back at camp, the kids had a "stick" fight.
Although it started out with all four kids, Jill and Justin eventually dropped out, and Jamie and Jake had a great time together.

That night we had a great fire for smores
. The kids really wanted to take a picture of it.
The first one was with the flash and the second was without the flash.
