Memorial Day Hike

On Memorial day we went on a hike up Ogden Canyon.  This was a hike we took the kids on last year and really enjoyed it.  Jared's sister and her family had come up to spend the night on Sunday and so they joined us. It was a beautiful day.  It had rained most of the weekend and we worried about there being a lot of mud, but surprisingly the trail was great.  The rain had made everything green and fresh.  It was a really fun time.  

On a side note-Last year when we did this hike, Jared and I thought we would DIE!  It is a lot of uphill trails and we just had a hard time.  Over the past several months Jared and I have been trying to lose weight.  We have been eating better and exercising, and it has really made a difference.  This time when we did the hike we did much better and were able to go much farther.  It is nice to see that it is really making a difference.
