Boys in a Box

Everyone know that a kid's favorite toy is the box. You buy them something and they want the box to play in. Saturday we bought a new ShopVac. When we got home Jared took it out of the box and Jill yelled, "Can I have the box?" She immediately took the box outside and sat in it on playhouse on top of the sandbox. Not sure what she did up there, but it appeared that she was having a great time.

Then yesterday the box was passed on to the boys. As boys do they immediately starting to make something of the box. The bottom was opened up, arm holes cut in the sides. We now had a robot in the house. Well, pretty soon the side of the box ripped open. So what do you do with the now flat box that has two arm holes in it? Stick your heads in it, of course!
It was discovered a short time later though that heads go into holes in a box much easier than heads come out of holes in a box. Thus the extremely grumpy face on Jacob.

What do the parents do to help the children who have their heads stuck in a box? Grab the camera so that this moment can be saved for all posterity. Won't their grandkids love this picture!?!

Isn't that what the "handbook" says a parent should do....grab the camera before ever helping them solve the problem they got themselves into! It gives them time to problem solve!

I LOVE your kids- they always make me smile! (But you ARE being a bit mean, taking a picture instead of helping them out!)Loves!

LOL! That's awesome! It really is amazing what kids can do with a box and a bit of imagination...
