Christmas 2010

I'm finally getting around to posting our Christmas pictures. We had a great day. Jared's sister, Melanie, came over to spend Christmas eve with us. We had a great night. I made home made pizza. Yum! We played games, ate goodies and watched Christmas movies. Then we read the Christmas Story from Luke. As is tradition, we let the kids each open a present.

This year all the kids got pajamas.

Christmas morning came early. Although we didn't get out of bed until 6am, we heard the kids up and talking about 3am. So we didn't get a ton of rest. We finally gave in at 6am and got up to open presents.

Santa spoiled us and brought us a Wii. Although we didn't open it first. We had each of the kids open a "smaller" gift first. Jacob and Justin opened up Wii games first. It was funny because they still hadn't figured out that one of the other gifts must be the Wii. So instead we heard, "Oh, Great!! Santa brought us a bunch of games we can't even play!" Jamie has been wanting Dance Dance Revolution forever so we got one to go with the Wii. This is me opening it.

Finally the Wii gets opened...followed by a loud, "Wahoo!!!!"

This is Mel with her very own 'Mel's Mug'
Whenever Mel comes to our house she likes to use a glass mug to drink out of. Anyway about a month before Christmas Mel's mug got broken. She was telling the kids she won't ever be able to have a drink at our house again since her mug is gone. So for Christmas we got her a new glass mug and did the glass etching on it that says, "Mel's Mug." She was very excited!
