Jacob's Birthday

Jacob's birthday was a month and a half ago and I am finally getting around to posting pictures.

Jacob had a pretty good day. Unfortunately Jared was out of town for Jacob's big day, but we celebrated and had a good time anyway!

For his birthday, Jacob got some new legos from us. He loves legos and is always happy to get new sets! He also got a IOU for a new skateboard. He have learned that the kids always prefer to be able to pick out their own stuff. So we let them. When Jared got back he took Jacob shopping and he is now the owner of a new skateboard.

Jacob also got some new hoodies which he loves! His favorite sweatshirts have a zipper and a hood. He informed me quite early that he was in need of some new ones and asked that I passed along the word. Aunt Nancy was kind enough to find ones he would like. As a joke she also gave him a couple of cucumbers. Jacob, however, was thrilled with his cucumbers as they are one of his favorite things to eat.

He was even more spoiled by a tent to play in. My sister's family gave it to him. He loves it because he can put it up and take it down by himself. He can play in the house with it too.

Of course we had to have cake and ice cream. I made him a cake with a helicopter on top. It wasn't the best cake I've ever made, but he seemed to love it. So I guess it was a success.

We love Jacob soooo much! We are very blessed that he is a part of our family.

Things to know about Jacob:
-Jacob is very creative. He loves anything that he can build or create with.
-Jacob loves to laugh. He likes to tease and be teased. He loves jokes and have fun.
-Jacob is very sweet and sensitive. He always knows when I can use a hug.
-Jacob is adventurous. There is very little that scares him. He climbs trees, rides his bike and skateboard off of ramps and would do sooooo much more if only his mother would let him.
