Spring Break and Easter

Every year we spend our spring break working on projects around the house or in the yard. This year, however, we decided to get away for Spring Break. We didn't go too far but it was still nice to get away for a few days. We drove up to Idaho to see my brother and his family. We had a really great time. Our kids always get along really well and loved to have time to just play around with each other.

This is Miss Lia. She had grown up so much since we had last seen her. My kids just love babies and just loved on her and carried her around the whole time. My sister-in-law said she just couldn't believe it. I guess she usually doesn't go to anyone but Mom, Dad and siblings. But she loved the kids picking her up and loving on her. What a cutie!


This is a cast picture of sorts. The kids put a play on for us. They made it up and practiced for a couple of hours in order to make sure it was just right. It was sooo funny.

We all went out to eat. It was a fun burger place with about 25 different types of milk shakes.

Then we went to see a movie. (How To Train a Dragon) Very funny.

Easter Morning!


We had such a great time! My sister-in-law is a fabulous cook! So we had lots of yummy food. Of course what is a family weekend without some fun game time and lots of laughter. We stayed up late every night. We came home exhausted but with some wonderful memories.
